David Rodolitz is a passionate and seasoned hospitality industry professional, with over 20 years of experience owning and operating a diverse range of food and beverage establishments in New York City. From James Beard nominated and Michelin-acknowledged restaurants to iconic bars and lounges, his expertise spans across various concepts and styles.

As the founder and CEO of VCR Group, a modern hospitality company, David is dedicated to creating consumer-centric experiences for guests. He is the visionary behind Flyfish Club, the world's first members-only private dining club, where membership is purchased on the blockchain. David is a co-owner of Ito, an omakase experience, in partnership with renowned chefs Masa Ito and Kevin Kim. He is a founding partner of the Empellón Restaurant Group, where he has successfully built and operated multiple concepts, including a 3-star, NYTimes, 7,500 square foot flagship in the heart of midtown, at 510 Madison Ave.

David also owns and founded Impulse Productions, a premier event-planning company that produces large-scale special events, corporate parties, and charity functions across industries. With a diverse skill set in hospitality and restaurant operations, entrepreneurship, event planning and production, marketing and branding, as well as business development and finance, David is dedicated to pushing boundaries and delivering outstanding experiences for guests and clients.

Josh Capon

Affectionately known as "Capon," Chef Josh Capon has over 25 years in the hospitality industry as a chef, partner, and personality. His culinary journey when he was discovered by Charlie Palmer. He honed his skills...

Affectionately known as "Capon," Chef Josh Capon has over 25 years in the hospitality industry as a chef, partner, and personality. His culinary journey when he was discovered by Charlie Palmer. He honed his skills at Aureole and the Lenox Room before working for David Burke at Park Avenue Cafe and traveling throughout Europe.

After a stint at St. Regis Hotel's Astor Court as sous chef under Gray Kunz, he took over as Executive Chef at Matthew's, followed by Alva, and later took on the role of Executive Chef at Canteen in SoHo. He went on to open several successful restaurants, including Lure Fish Bar, Burger & Barrel Winepub, El Toro Blanco and Bowery Meat Company with Mercer Street Hospitality Group.

Capon's latest venture is the hospitality portfolio VCR Group, which he co-founded with David Rodolitz, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Conor Hanlon in 2021.

Partner & Chief Culinary Officer

Conor Hanlon

After graduating from college with a degree in fine arts, Conor decided to follow his passion in the hospitality industry and after three years of traveling and working throughout the country...

After graduating from college with a degree in fine arts, Conor decided to follow his passion in the hospitality industry and after three years of traveling and working throughout the country, he found himself working alongside Daniel Boulud at Cafe Boulud in Palm Beach, Florida. Over the next six years Conor worked with Boulud on several different projects including locations in Palm Beach, Las Vegas, and Miami. Conor worked his way from a line cook to Chef De Cuisine of Michelin Star Restaurant, DB Brasserie.

In 2011, he joined Chef Andrew Carmellini at NoHo Hospitality and became Chef De Cuisine of The Dutch Miami before running the entire Food & Beverage program at W Hotel South Beach Miami, Starwood’s flagship W location. He was later promoted to Culinary Director for NoHo Hospitality, overseeing 16 restaurants across different cities in the US.

Conor's keen eye for detail has transcended cuisine, and carried over to his design of kitchen and restaurants, believing it plays an integral part in the hospitality experience. Conor is fueled by his passion for culture, experience, cuisine, and aesthetic.
